First thing we really need to talk about is comparison. So many girls are always comparing themselves to other girls, wether they're on social media or their genuine friends. It's a shitty feeling and it took me a lot to finally be confident with who I am and who I want to be. No one should be comparing their body to someone else body, because their body is theirs and your body is yours. And neither of them is the 'right' body, or how a girls body 'should be/look like' Nothing good ever comes out of comparing yourself to other girls, 'cause you either bring yourself down and end up feeling like crap or you're just like "oh I'm prettier than her anyway" and then you're just prideful. Don't compare yourself to other girls. I know its easier said than done, I'm guilty of comparing myself to other like all the time. But if you're conscious of doing this then hopefully you can change. Embrace your imperfections because thats what makes you you, thats what makes you different, thats what makes you special. Second, be kind to yourself. I've noticed it's really common for girls & guys to apologies about everything, but that kind of chips away at your self worth. Because you're constantly taking the blame for tiny little things that don't actually matter. That's so bad for you, you gotta think positively about yourself. And don't point out your flaws. And I know I'm guilty of this too because it's a normal thing, like I can be somewhere with someone and i'd just randomly be like "omg my hair looks greasy" or "omg my forehead is huge" or i'd be on the phone and just randomly say "ew I sound like shit,"Why am I even saying those things? 1/literally no one care 2/it's damaging to yourself 3/it's not only damaging to yourself because if you're saying "omg i hate my body" to someone then it makes them thing: well if she thinks her body is ugly then mine must be really ugly If you keep saying negative thinks about your self then wether you know it or not you're gonna start believing those things and that is so unhealthy and is the cause of depression in a lot of cases. Another thing I wanted to talk about; Never sell yourself short as a person. Especially to boys because thats a very common thing among girls. We think a boy I really cute and we really want him to like us. So we change the way we act and the way we dress and just the way to look just to have him like us. Which is really sad. Because why would you want anyone to like you for any other reason than you being you? It’s a silly think to think about but is actually more common than you think it isz You shouldn’t sell yourself short to anyone. Maybe you have a lot of toxic people around you that you can’t be your self around. Or make you feel like you need to compromise your standards to “fit in” or whatever. And you know what? No one needs to fit in anywhere. We all need accept each other the way we are. You shouldn’t let anyone try to change you or make you become someone else... just so you can “hang out”. No. Cause you’re an amazing person already and a lot of other people would love to be your friend. Love yourself to be loved. Respect yourself to be respected. Appreciate yourself to be appreciated. You’re beautiful, smart. Awesome, sexy and freaking amazing. Embrace yourself.

If you guys have ever watched a youtube video, you have probably seen makeup artists rave on and on and on about this high end product. So naturally I gave into the hype and this is what I think...
Chanel describes this product as a cream-gel bronzer that gives you a beautiful natural sun kissed look. You can use it as a complexion base, on its own, or as a bronzer. But what Chanel forgot to tell everyone is that it smells like a flower shop. I literally LOVE the smell!! It's like someone just gave me a bouqet of flowers, just smelling it makes me so freaking HAPPY!! Hey guys!! Seeing how successful the previous network marketing post was and how a lot of ladies emailed me saying they wanna know more. I thought maybe I can test my luck and try to get an interview with one of the MOST successful women in network marketing. Mrs. Tamara Boykin Young. Luckily she's also one of the nicest ladies I ever interacted with. Tamara, has been in network marketing for a really long time, and has helped women and men from all around the world make a lot of money (sometimes even more than what she makes every month! - And she makes a ton.)
It's the first time,
He smiles at me. It's the first time, He picks me up for a date. It's the first time I feel this way about someone, Every little thing he does for me warms my heart. It's the first time that I truly let my guard down. It's the first time someone made me feel like I was the most important thing in the world. What an amazing feelings. It's the first time that I want to give more than take, Because his happiness is what makes me happy. My biggest fear though Is losing him. It's the first time I feel like maybe... Just maybe, we could be together forever. But time passes... and all the firsts... Become seconds... and thirds... I start losing count... And I let all the things I once found beautiful, fade away. And then slowly... but suddenly, It's time to realize that the person who can make me the happiest, is also the one who can cause me most pain. I trust him not to let go. He promised to never leave me. It's the first time I know what it's like. To be heartbroken. It's the first time I feel like this Completely helpless... Like I'm reaching for something, But it just slips away right through my fingers. And just because he doesn't love me the same way I do, doesn't mean he does not love me. That's the only excuse I have to make myself happy. Satisfied. Because I can't go a day without thinking about him. To be continued Z.A A study shows that the number of American troops killed in Afghanistan and Iraq between 2001 and 2012 was 6,488. The number of American women who were murdered by current or ex male partners during that time was 11,766. That’s nearly double the amount of casualties lost during war.
I spent the day reading stories of women (who are domestic violence victims) and I've never been this shocked in my life, never felt so much pain for other women. So let me state some facts about domestic violence before the month comes to an end.
__________________________________ What is Marijuana? Marijuana is the name given to the dried buds and leaves of varieties of the Cannabis sativa plant, which can grow wild in warm and tropical climates throughout the world and be cultivated commercially. It goes by many names, including pot, grass, cannabis, weed, hemp, hash, marihuana, ganja, and dozens of others.
We all know that marijuana has been used in herbal remedies for a long time. Scientists have identified in marijuana that are called cannabinoids. The two best, and that have been studied well are THC & CBD. The rest are still being studied. In fact, cannabis is included in the 50 fundamental herbs within the cornucopia of Traditional Chinese Medicine. In recent years in the United States, the collective mood is changing in regards to cannabis/hemp (aka “marijuana”). “We observed that when we treated [astrocytoma, a type of brain tumor] cells with cannabinoids, the THC…was killing the cells in our Petri dishes,” Dr. Sanchez says. “We…decided to analyze these components in animal models of breast and brain tumors. The results we are obtaining are telling us that cannabinoids may be useful for the treatment of Breast Cancer.” Sanchez and other researchers have confirmed that the most potent effects against tumor growth occur when THC and CBD are combined. Mirror magazine reported on march last year, that a young boy called Deryn Blackwell 'beat cancer by using Cannabis oil'. This is their article below, Let me start with what is network marketing? Network marketing is a type of business opportunity that has become very popular, with people looking for extra income from a part-time job, and/or for more of a flexible business.
In the last ten years, more and more women are leaving the corporate world (the 9 to 5 regular jobs) to start their own businesses. According to the U.S. Department of Commerce, the number of women-owned businesses grew by 44 percent between 1997 and 2007—twice as fast as men-owned firms. Given the state of today’s economy and the numbers of women who’ve been laid off, more women than ever are leaving traditional careers and starting their own businesses from home. Professional women have plenty of options when deciding to go into business for themselves—but more of them are taking a serious look at network marketing and direct selling companies as their new career path. What’s the appeal? Why are women so into this? There are plenty of reasons, Here are the some of the reasons why women are leaving the corporate world for network marketing and direct sales: "Success is often achieved by those who don't know that failure is inevitable."- Gabrielle "Coco" ChanelAmong the key fashion designers who made a huge and lasting impression on women’s fashion scene in the twentieth century, Gabrielle “Coco” Bonheur Chanel (1883-1971) born in Saumur, France, definitely deserves a special recognition. With her trademark fashion items like the little black dress, the Chanel suit, the quilted bag and her signature perfume No.5, Chanel created timeless designs that will never go out of style. Her fashion clothing pieces had an emphasis to be more comfortable for women. Her relaxed fashions, bell bottoms, short skirts and casual look were a complete opposite to the corset fashions popular at that time.
The hallway is draped with exquisite mosaic, fine rouge, and arches shaped like keyholes bathed in white. Bulbs suspended in mid-air, hanging from strings, make you wonder how breath-taking it will be when the night comes and it becomes their turn to illuminate the area. But this is not all you are thinking. This place is the oldest library in the world, housing the original 9th-century Quran, still in its original binding, and 4 thousand rare texts and ancient manuscripts–it’s a tad bit intimidating. As you walk through the architectural splendour that comes with a mix of medieval and modern Arabic designs, the thing that will cross your mind more often than the beauty you are currently living is the unpopular fact that a woman founded this place. The University Of Qarrawiyyin was first founded as a mosque, before being developed into a university that became an important centre of education and one of the first Islamic and most respected universities in the world. People traveled the world just to have an education here, this was because just like the brilliant idea of a university, the courses chosen to be offered were also brilliantly diverse, ranging from music to geology, astrology, grammar, chemistry, medicine, mathematics.
Fatima lived in Tunisia for some years, before moving to Fez, Morocco, with her family. She wasn’t born into an affluent family, but her father Mohammed Al Fihri, through hard work and persistence became a successful businessman overtime. When her father sadly passed, Fatima was left alone with her sister and her father’s wealth which she inherited. I could think of a million things to buy if I were Fatima, but instead of investing in luxury, she opted to buy into the future of people. Her sister, Mariam, built a mosque which is known as the Al Andalus Mosque, while Fatima, in 859 founded the first university in the world, which she oversaw as it was being built. Fatima later died in 880 CE, but centuries and centuries later the Al Qarrawiyyin University still stands, and is known as one of the most respected Moroccan universities. This is the story of a strong Muslim woman, who achieved thigs outside the box that women have been placed. This was a woman that gave the world education, that girls have been systematically denied today. She was an obvious trailblazer, and without her, the marble floor, dressed with expensive rogues will not receive bright eyed guests waiting to see a world that someone who we will never thank enough orchestrated. Fatima should not just be remembered as one who saw the importance of educating the world, but one whose vision was simply impeccable, and whose leadership was immense. When names of people like Abraham Lincoln, Mother Theresa, and Martin Luther King are mentioned, her name, and all other women who shaped the world we live in, should be mentioned too . In a recent interview someone brought up the issue that Muslim women are not treated equally under Islamic Shariah law. Their analysis is on the basis of what they have seen in Muslim majority countries such as Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia doesn’t speak for Muslims nor did the Holy Quran or Prophet Muhammad appoint Saudi Arabia as the final say in Islamic law. The status of women or any Islamic law is based on the Holy Quran.
At the time of the advent of Islam, women had very few rights not only in Arabia, but everywhere in the world. They had no real status in society. They could neither own nor inherit property, and were given little or no education. They had no say in religious matters and were regarded as being limited in spirituality and intellect. The Holy Quran put an end to this inequality and granted women spiritual, intellectual, economic, and social rights equal if not more than men. This is a vast subject and I’m going to present few examples from the Quran and sayings of Prophet Muhammad. 1. Spiritual Status God has clearly declared in the Holy Quran that a woman has a soul, that she has the same spiritual capacity as a man, and that she can attain equal spiritual rewards by her own efforts. The Quran says, “But whoso does good works, whether male or female, and is a believer, such shall enter heaven…” (4:125) and “And sets forth as an example Mary…who guarded her chastity…and she was one of the obedient.” (66:13) These verses of the Holy Quran are addressed to both men & women. The obedience of Mary, mother of Jesus has been mentioned as an example for believers (both men and women) to aspire spiritually. Even, Prophet Muhammad encouraged his wives to seek knowledge and once stated that “half the religion of Islam could be learned from Ayesha (his wife).” Indeed, after his death, the advice of his wives was sought by the entire Muslim community. 2. Education Rights Islam provided women equal opportunity to gain knowledge some 1400 years ago, but the women in the United States were not provided this right fully until 1977 when Title IX of the Education Codes of the Higher Education Act Amendment was enacted. Before this law, the right to learn was a valiant struggle waged by many tenacious women—over many years and across cultures—in our country. Islam stresses that education for men and women is of equal importance, and the Prophet Muhammad laid down that education is compulsory for both. He said that, “It is the duty of every Muslim man and every Muslim woman to acquire knowledge.” (Ibni Mājah) 3. Economic Rights Islam entitled women to possess wealth and property, whether it is inherited or earned, and has full rights over it. The Holy Qur’an 4:33 states, “Men shall have the share of what they have earned, and women shall have the share of what they have earned…” This verse makes it clear that a woman has the right to manage her own wealth. A married working woman isn’t required to share her income with her husband. On the contrary, Islam makes it an obligation on a husband to provide for his wife and family. Muslim women are entitled to inherit property as a mother, wife, daughter or sister. The Qur’an 4:8 makes it clear that, “For men there is a share of that which parents and near relatives leave, and for women there is a share of that which parents and near relatives leave, whether it be a little or much — a determined share.” Islam gave women spiritual, educational, economic and social rights. However, misconceptions about the role and status of women in Islam are still very prevalent in the Western world. It is despicable that leaders of Muslim countries who claim that they are upholding the teachings of Islam are not following its true teachings and are denying Muslim women rights afforded to them in the Holy Quran and by Prophet Muhammad some 1400 years ago. |
