Hey guys!! Seeing how successful the previous network marketing post was and how a lot of ladies emailed me saying they wanna know more. I thought maybe I can test my luck and try to get an interview with one of the MOST successful women in network marketing. Mrs. Tamara Boykin Young. Luckily she's also one of the nicest ladies I ever interacted with. Tamara, has been in network marketing for a really long time, and has helped women and men from all around the world make a lot of money (sometimes even more than what she makes every month! - And she makes a ton.) This was in fact my first time ever interviewing anyone and it was fun!! We had a little chat towards the end, and let me just add that Mrs. Tamara also has an AMAZING voice and is insanely gorgeous!!! (As you can clearly see in the picture above) Overall, I feel like I’ve covered most of the questions I was requested to ask, but one question remained, how does she manage to be successful and talented at the same time?! What do you think network marketing is? I think network marketing is a really exciting place which allows people to create life-changing income, and at the same time transform lives of others world wide effortlessly. I see network marketing as a place where if you have a burning desire — you can do some really amazing things. Plus, you can include other people you care about along your journey. And if you partner with the right company and you market the right product or service, oh boy oh boy… you can make what I like to call ‘screw you’ money. (There’s another word for that actually starts with an F.) But you know, I believe network marketing allows average women, particularly ordinary women — to become extraordinary — and a bit more bodacious along the way. Because, along the way, as you focus on succeeding, you become more and more successful— and the pendulum is going to swing towards focusing on you — and honoring you and honoring the promises to made to yourself — and ultimately — you become — your own boss. And it’s so rewarding. And the process of becoming more and more successful is going to start feeling more and more natural. I see network marketing as a truly unique vehicle for the average person to become your own boss. You get to wake up naturally by sunrise — and emphatically be anxious for nothing. This type of freedom is priceless and it gives you the autonomy to make your own rules and profit in ways others can only dream of. That’s what network marketing is to me. Well, if I wasn’t in network marketing I’d be wondering why aren’t I?! Anyway, next question: When did you first start network marketing and were you already successful? Oh boy! My husband reminds me — It’s been about 15 years. And I tell him he must have met me when I was 5. We discovered network marketing accidentally. Based on my background, and what I thought I naively knew about the industry of MLM, I would’ve never gotten involved with network marketing he not taken the first steps. Frankly, I was just ignorant to the industry. I had no idea what I was missing — as I was truly satisfied in my industry as a multiple six figure annual earner; the industry of PR where I still thrive. Right out of university, I was blessed to be earning $10K a month at 23-years old. So, I was able to set my own hours — I was in charge of my life — and my business as a consultant was exciting and fulfilling — no bosses — It was really a beautiful privilege that the Lord gave me. I was able to determine my own career path really early on — which provided me with amazing autonomy — to only search out clients and opportunities which would give me the most, what ‘Have Your Cake And Eat It Too’ success outcomes — Does that make sense? Totally makes sense -- Yeah — So, as a young woman, I’d really grasped, you know, the importance of being specific when it came to choosing only what was deserving of being in my lane and on my plate so-to-speak. And even to this day I appreciate knowing instinctively that every opportunity is not necessarily for me. I’m big on not being too anxious — or just accepting any piece of business — and so, whereas I was my own boss —didn’t have partners — or rules— I was unaware that there was a space called network marketing which created billions — and more millionaires than any other traditional industry. — It was better and provided an equally exciting opportunity. — Plus the chance to duplicate my success in the lives of others. As a Publicist, I couldn’t do that for my staff — regardless of how generous I tried to be. I can see what you liked — what did you also dislike about the industry? However, the idea of having to chase people down and sell juices and lotions and potions — That certainly didn’t appeal to a woman like me — right? So, when I met my wonderful husband and he was introduced to the industry, I was introduced to it right alongside him — and initially I was unimpressed with the person who brought it to our doorstep. Funny, the unique and great thing about network marketing is anybody can do it — the downside about network marketing is, anybody can do it! So, for some reason some folks have wildly crazy success — whilst others simply will not. And that’s what turns a lot of people off — scares them away — Makes them think it is a scam. You know, many ask ‘Why is this person having more success versus this person.’ They assume only the people on the top win. So, when we got enrolled, in our first company— I wasn’t just excited about making more money — but the way I was pitched — this was an industry that could net you millions and millions — and you could help other people do the same. THAT’S what put the twinkle in my eye! We could help other people! I already had “stuff”: Sports cars — check. Million dollar home paid for —check. 2nd home - check. Custom clothing — check. Fur coats — check. I was well traveled - check… Could afford to donate to charities and make a difference in other’s lives. But when I realized that I honestly could help others live the life I’d been enjoying — all I could think about was all the other people who didn’t have all that stuff — and perhaps even envied me or disliked me for it. I’d found nirvana. So, I was thinking OMG!!! Network marketing. I can help other people win! It seemed like the natural industry to get involved in to help other people. — But then there was the other side — I was still turned off — I was afraid I’d have to chase people down and get them to sign up for stuff — and that was terribly unattractive to me. I was young, I had a bit of an ego — All of my peers were uber successful — had college degrees and stuff — and I felt like if I tried to introduce this them — they would feel like we were all too well established to be begging people to join stuff. Did people immediately join with you? We immediately were blessed with a lot of people who joined — But a lot of people said no — And a ton of people quit also — I discovered that its sadly common for people to simply instinctively not believe in themselves. And it’s really difficult trying to hold a hand of someone whose grasp is like a wet noodle — while you’re desperately trying to hold it — and you’re determined to be propelled forward and not leave them behind. So, although you’re focused not looking back; advancing with unshakable belief; imagine trying to run around a track (I ran a track as a young girl); trying to win a track meet — Yet, every few seconds the rest of the team gets tired — they keep stopping for water — they have to leave the meet — they’re constantly distracted by everyone in the stands — or they flat out quit on you — So, you had to repeatedly go back and get the baton to win the race all by yourself. Network marketing can feel like that sometimes as well. Alright, thanks for covering that!! I know some guys that work in iMarkets Live as well, who dropped out or decided to take the risk and not go to university because they have hope in becoming millionaires from network marketing, What do you think of that? For example, my mentor Ali Ben-Hariz who’s about to become Chairman 10. I say rock on! I think that is a true testament of what a game changer industry network marketing is. You know, here’s [Ali Ben-Hariz} who dropped out of college or didn’t even go, he fiercely went after his dreams and he focused on his path and he stayed grounded. Right? He stayed true to his passion and he trusted himself. And he took massive action. See that’s what’s so important, Rita — the massive action. Knowing what you want and being unquestionably confident when you decide to go get it. Ali is determined. So, he’s created an environment where he will win as well as help others around him —those committed to grasping the baton tightly — And look at the success that has been manifesting. And you know, it’s going to keep happening repeatedly — not just for him but for those who follow him. Look at what he’s done. He didn’t leave his success for somebody else. Sadly, that’s the habit for most men and women — waiting for someone else to determine their success — and once you fall into that deadly habit — it’s a hard one to break. You know, like myself and so many others. We’ve been blessed with unimaginable success using network marketing as our vehicle. And I urge all of those who share this story to to find other people to bless right back. Ali is blessing his parents financially because of this industry — What a privilege for him to be the one who changes the trajectory of his family’s future. I saw a picture of him and his dad. His papa. It brought me to tears because I just lost my dad this past April and there was so much more I had planned of him. Oh my gosh, I’m so sorry for your loss. Yeah. Thank you baby. How wonderful that his father will be able to benefit and share in his wild success, with iMarkets Live. It’s really exciting that iMarkets Live is the company he and others have decided to partner with. Unlike other companies and network marketing opportunities, like you, he’s chosen a company where the product is not a juice or a lotion or a potion. Now there’s nothing wrong with those companies. However, he didn’t have to be garage qualified and ask other people to do the same. He will never have to tell people to sell a juice or by a pill. And for those who won’t be able to afford it — they won’t be crying every month because no one wants to buy it or the’ve already lost the weight so they don’t need anymore — and they’re stuck with cases in their trunk or basement. Instead, our product is money. And we’re simply showing people how to multiply what they already have. That’s all. That is all. But a lot of people would argue with you and say that iMarkets Live, or network marketing in general is like the pyramid scheme. What do you think? You know it’s funny, I love telling people they’re right. So we don’t have to go through the debatable explanation. You know just for parenthetical purposes, Network marketing empowers the men and women who work very hard at it. They always win. A lot of people don’t even understand what a pyramid really is — You know, you’d think they’d recognize a pyramid instead of confusing it with network marketing. A pyramid is a job. A pyramid is going into a place everyday and the name on the building is not yours, it will never be yours, you will never be at the top, you can only be at the bottom, or somewhere in the middle. A perfect example of a pyramid is when you got the CEO and the CFO and everybody else is below them and they can never ever get promoted above them. The supervisors, managers, a project managers… — the employees — They’re not at the top - they’re all satisfied at the bottom. Everybody categorically does not have equal opportunity to rise to the top. That’s a fact -- But in network marketing — they absolutely can - Especially when the company is iMarketsLive. Yeah exactly, you’d be working for trump and you’re not going anywhere. Ahhh LOL — Exactly. You’d probably get fired. pyramid schemes — but I really want the readers to take a good fair look at network marketing. It’s truly the inverted pyramid, okay. I’ll give you another example, a pyramid implies that there’s one person at the top and no one can take his place, We’ve established that’s one example of what a pyramid is, right? Well, I ask the naysayers to explain to me why, I’m at Chairman 25 (30 people away from Chairman 50) by the way — Yet, I’ve helped 2 ladies in my team hit Chairman 50 a couple of weeks ago — before me. Are they above or below me? They're below me. Now they’re capable of making as much if not more money than even me. If network marketing is such a pyramid, why is this playing field so leveled — so equal — if it's a pyramid? Now, it becomes a moot point — as that was a rhetorical question. Here’s Ali — who’s below Ahmed right? Why is he about to hit Chairman 10 right alongside Ahmed? Do you see that pattern? So I love that, as we hit positions — true leaders have goals in network marketing to help empower the very people they’ve been blessed with in their organizations. We want as many as possible to achieve the same success that we’re experiencing. Even more. But its up to them not to drop the baton! Not to quit. My husband and I hosted 15 webinars last week, all because we wanted to help one gentleman hit Chairman 10. So we got out of the leg we needed to work in and we focused on his. We didn’t care that we could beat the person under us to Chairman 50. We couldn’t care less about that. You know we really bought into this, each one reach one, a long time ago. And it's really palpitating watching others win and assisting in their success repeatedly. Helping others gain financial independence — is really what we cherish most about this space. So, it’s not a pyramid. And if anyone takes the time to really investigate what network marketing has done for countless men and women around the world, I think they can truly find a space, they can flourish in. If they find the right company, they can change a lot of lives for the better. If they find the wrong company and waste time with a bunch of imposters — it can have deleterious effects on their financial futures. Because we market opportunity and our product is money management— we understand that you have to be careful where you accept advice from. If you get your advice from someone silly enough to leave their money in the bank and get 0.001% on it — they can’t be really great advisor. If you’re getting your advice from people who drive every day to a job that doesn’t have their name on it, but they somehow think they’re going to be rich one day working there — they fight through traffic everyday — they do the same thing, literally, over and over and over again. That’s the definition of insanity. The average employee isn’t at work breaking records daily and pushing boundaries at the job — More often than non — there’s no way to dominate at the average job and move up and get raises daily — Often times, there’s no way to stand out at the job — there’s no way to become wealthy because of the salary you’ve accepted from your job. You’re working at a place where everyday you’re teed off. Even if you work really hard you’re still not gonna be the CEO — who 9 times out of ten can be found teeing off on the finest golf courses. Absolutely, no matter how hard you work, you’re still just an employee, technically. So I think this is the question before the last, what do you see network marketing being in the future? If you pay attention to the multitudes of multi-national corporations who have adopted the network marketing philosophy — you’ll see the trend is shifting. Let’s call network marketing what it is: It’s just referral marketing. It is relationship marketing. Network marketing is attraction marketing. Network marketing is simply word of mouth. And there’s nothing new about that at all. So if you look at companies that allow you to get percentages when you make referrals, you’ll notice that’s just a fair practice — and you’ll notice that others who don’t give you any credit aren’t being fair at all. Don’t you think you deserve to get paid when you refer someone else products or services? When you refer a good movie or a hair salon or barber or restaurant — You typically don’t get paid for the referral — Although you should… and changes are, if you asked — you would. Yet you do it all of the time — for free. That’s your fault. Corporation's every day are taking advantage of relationship marketing — word of mouth advertising — And now for more than a decade they’re using the social media through affiliate marketing programs — they’ve wised up and they’re letting their consumers run their mouths and bring even more consumers their way. They’re giving us all a few pennies for doing it — Call it what you want — That my friend is network marketing. So, where do I see network marketing going? SIMPLY PUT: I see a consequence shift — Our existence, albeit often disdained — has ironically driven even multi-billion dollar corporate entities to pay close attention and to to take a page out of our book — and as a result they’re increasing their bottom lines though an alternate income channel. I see network marketing impacting many future aspects of our consumer lives — I see maximum pressure motivating corporations to smarten up and aggressively engage and partner with their customer bases — inviting them to become their paid armies — I see what’s happening now just as I predicted it would naturally happen years ago — It will continue to change the way traditional business is done — I see the rest of the world jumping on this inevitable multibillion dollar bandwagon. And if you’re a part of iML — you’ll actually be a part of a Multi-TRILLION DOLLAR DAILY bandwagon. — And for you my friends— the best is even yet to come. You know, you’ve inspired me even more. I wanna leave everything and just do network marketing. It’s such an honor to speak to someone like yourself. Last question, kind of a personal one, how does it feel like being in the same company as your husband? Oh boy oh boy, you know we’ve done it for so long now, I don’t know any difference. Like do you ever argue about stuff? Of course — but shockingly rarely inspire of how overwhelmingly independent, vocal and opinionated I am. And that’s a hard habit to break. I’m not an average women. And to him that’s fantastic — He refers to me as being very vibrant and vivacious. And sometimes he even confuses that with brilliant — but don’t tell anyone — it’s only partially true. He realized early on that he married a“Type A” personality gal who is addicted to getting her way and getting things done — and he trusts my instincts. And when it comes to business that’s caused us both to win even bigger. He is also a phenom of a man — of a husband and of a provider. So, I can’t help but recognize that and be in utter awe of him. So, we constantly and intentionally endeavor to strike a delicate balance. We drew a line in the sand twenty years ago — and we refuse to cross it — We’re principled in that. We pledged our loyalty to one another and to our marriage — We respect both. We don’t attack one another — We do not criticize one another. (I must say, Coach Young is better at keeping that pledge — than I am.) He’s a very patient man. He’s a beautiful man. I’ve never met anyone like him in my life — and I’ve met tens of thousands of men in this business. Still, I’ve never ever come across such a strong strategic business man who fiercely takes a business adventure and comes out on the other side even more successful — without ever once stepping on anyone! It’s because he’s very humble and very gracious and filled with integrity and morality. Our prognostications that this industry could challenge even the strongest marriage has proved remarkably accurate, as we’ve witnessed the carnage in other couple’s lives. We truly enjoy our personal and business partnership — incredibly void of conflict. We’re very blessed. Aw bless you two, cutest married couple ever. Hashtag goals. Thank you so much for your time. It has been an honor talking to someone as successful and inspiring — and a true role model like you.
